Privacy and where the data lives
The free check runs in your browser. It reads a seed file served from this site and computes the result locally. The answers you select are not sent to us and are not stored.
What we hold when you buy
Stripe collects the payment and the email address. We hold the email, the plan, the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, and the kit delivery state. We do not hold card numbers; Stripe does.
Where it is kept and who can see it
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. The account and entitlement records are held in Supabase in Sydney. Payments are processed by Stripe. Transactional and alert email is sent by SendGrid. Those four processors are the only ones. Access is limited to the service role and to the publisher.
How long
Account and entitlement records are kept while the account is active and for seven years after the last payment, to meet tax and records obligations. The watch alert history is kept while the subscription is active.
Your choices
Write to support@theartofservice.com to ask for a copy, a correction or a deletion. We will confirm what we hold and act within a reasonable time. You can cancel the watch from the Stripe portal or by writing to the same address.
Cookies
The site sets an anonymous identifier cookie so a checkout can be joined to the account created from the payment email, and a session cookie after sign-in. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics script on this site.
