The watch
Know when the record moves
The instrument is registered, not frozen. A compilation can change, a guidance page can be replaced, a commencement can be altered by a later instrument. The watch checks the record every month and sends the diff when something moves.
What is checked
- The instrument PDF and its registration and commencement fields.
- The current compilation number and the amended rule text.
- The linked ASIC guidance pages.
- The record hash: any change to a unit, an evidence line or a date.
The check is a diff, not a promise that the law has changed. You still read the changed lines and decide what applies.
